Hi! My name is Rachael (aka VenusBloo), and welcome to my book blog! Here you will find book news, reviews, discussion, lists, and everything to do with reading and books.
Lately, I’ve been feeling like just reading books isn’t enough. I want to discuss and analyze them as well. Even if no one reads this blog, I still want to get my thoughts about books, reading, and being a bookworm out of my head. So, this will be the place for me to do just that!
I also want to use this blog as a planner of sorts. You see, I have a confession to make. I’m a bit of a book hoarder. I own literally thousands of books, and I’ve barely read a fraction of them. With the help of book community read-a-thons and copious amounts of planning in my bullet journal, I hope to create a large dent in my mountainous TBR pile.
As far as what I enjoy reading goes, I will read nearly anything, but I primarily read young adult fiction, fantasy, and science fiction books. I will occasionally throw a non-fiction book, cook book, or mystery/thriller into my reading mix depending on my mood as well. I am also open to any book suggestions you all may have, so make sure to leave a comment if you have one!
